As a Certified Arborist at YPGA, you’ll lead tree care operations, including pruning, removals, cabling/bracing, crown bracing, stump grinding, invasive species control, forestry mulching and plant health care services. What You'll Do:

Perform all aspects of tree care, including climbing, aerial lift operation, rigging, pruning, and removals.

Assess tree health and recommend appropriate treatment plans.

Operate and maintain equipment.

Oversee safety protocols, ensuring adherence to ANSI and OSHA standards.

Collaborate with clients to provide expert advice on tree care and property management.

Train and mentor crew members to develop their arboriculture skills.

Maintain accurate records of work orders, treatments, and materials used.

What We’re Looking For:

Your Personal Gardener & Arborist Plant Health Care Technician. The PHC position empowers the technician with the ability to cultivate and nurture the valuable properties of YPGA customer base. Plant Health Care is the integrated approach to repairing and protecting valuable trees and shrubs that cannot be replaced many times in a single lifetime or even two or three generations.

What You'll Do:

PHC techs will be working on trees, shrubs, and lawns performing some of the following items:

Fertilization

Integrated pest management for both insects, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies

Decompaction of soil

Soil work with amendments

Lawn fertilization and broadleaf weed spraying

When all PHC work is complete YPGA will utilize our PHC techs for an assortment of additional estate care services
